Spectape ST-501 is a double-sided, crepe-paper adhesive tape made for temporarily bonding wood pieces together so they can be cut, sanded, or shaped as one unit. It's a shop staple for pattern and template work, segmented turning, and any job where you need several identical pieces cut from a stack.
- Double-sided crepe paper tape with a natural rubber/resin adhesive on both faces
- 2" wide x 36 yard roll
- About the thickness of masking tape — thin enough that it won't clog or dull saw blades
- Oil-resistant, with quick tack and a firm hold under saw and router pressure
Press two workpieces face to face along the tape, run them through the saw or router as a single piece, then peel them apart once the cut is done.
