This 5/64" self-centering hinge bit is machined with a Festool Centrotec-compatible shank, so it drills accurate, centered pilot holes in hinges, handles, and drawer slides directly from a Centrotec chuck rather than a hex quick-change chuck. Its spring-loaded sleeve locates the hole in the hardware before the twist drill engages, keeping the pilot hole centered instead of off to one side.
