The Protimeter SurveyMaster (BLD5375) is a dual-function moisture meter for building surveys, water-damage restoration, and new-construction moisture checks, combining a non-invasive scan mode with a pin-probe measure mode in one handheld unit. It is designed for one-handed use on walls, floors, and other structures, so an inspector can sweep a room in seconds and then confirm a suspect spot with pins.
Search mode uses non-invasive (pinless) sensing to detect moisture up to 3/4 inch (19mm) beneath floors, walls, and coverings without marking the surface. Measure mode switches to the pin-type HD moisture probe for direct pin readings from 6% up through fiber saturation (nominal 100) in wood, drywall, concrete, masonry, and fiberglass boat hulls. The meter has a larger display than the previous model, an automatic calibration check every 50 power cycles, and roughly three times the battery life of its predecessor. It pairs over Bluetooth with the Protimeter Connect app to log and export readings. The kit includes the instrument, a short carrying pouch, the HD moisture probe, a quick start guide, and a wood calibration chart.
Scan a room in Search mode first, then switch to the pin probe to confirm and quantify any area that reads wet.
